Sarah Peters
American Eccentricities

March 2019

Working with Bennington Museum curator Jamie Franklin, sculptor Sarah Peters assembled a temporary installation on the museum’s second floor of objects from the museum’s vast collection. In a public talk March 2, she discussed her selections and her studio practice in relationship to the history of American sculpture. Her Bennington Museum research extended from and complemented the Usdan Gallery exhibition The Body Stops Here: Keiko Narahashi and Sarah Peters.
